(Video) Swiffer WetJet Review + Demo on Wood Floors!

This swiffer wet jet wood floor cleaner does exactly what I needed it to and what I bought and intended to use it for, a quick clean up of a small mess. I do not use this when I really want to clean my whole floor, it does not work well for that and will leave you completely unsatisfied if that is what you are wanting it for. I like to use this when I just cleaned the wood floor and my kids or somebody tracks something into the house or they spill something. It is very quick and easy to throw a pad on it and go spray it and clean it super fast before anything sets in. It does not leave my floor really shinny though, it kind of just makes it lose all of its nice and shiny luster which is why I would never recommend it to be used for the whole floor, it is something that truly works great for a quick and easy clean up in between a real good cleaning and waxing of your wood floors. It does have a wonderful smell though that fills your house which adds to your quick clean ups.

I purchased the Swiffer Wet Jet and Wood Floor Cleaner on the premise that the Multi-Purpose Cleaning Solution from Swiffer was very, very good. However in comparison, the Wood Floor Cleaner was slightly disappointing. It smells good, fresh with a "shampoo" like fragrance, it is also sanctioned with the "Good House Keeping" stamp of approval, however unlike the Multi-Purpose Cleaning Solution, it leaves a film of goo on my hardwood floors that enables the fabric patterns of socks and foot imprints to not go unnoticed. It does remove dirt and grime, and it does smell nice however after using this the last time I was left with the opinion that I should go over the floor once more, but with the multi-purpose solution to get the goo off! I say this because the Multi-purpose Cleaner is also recommended for wood flooring and doesn't leave a film. These bottles of cleaning solutions are not cheap from Swiffer, so it is important that you make the right choice from the outset. If you want my advice, stick with the Multi-Purpose Cleaner, it is good for wood floors, tile, marble and stone.

(Video) HOW TO CLEAN WOOD FLOORS | SWIFFER WETJET

Swiffer WetJet Wood Floor Cleaner leaves a dull film on my hard wood floors. I was very disappointed in this product. I have been a Swiffer customer for many years. I use several of their products. I use the WetJet with their "regular" solution and it works great on the floors in my bathroom and kitchen. So since I already had the WetJet machine, I thought I would try the product they made specifically for wood floors. I read the package and I thought that this would be a great product! Well, it is very easy to use (just like any of the Swiffer products). You just load the bottle into the machine and start Swiffing. It is very quick and easy. And it worked very well to clean a little sticky, messy spot. I had great expectations. The scent is very pleasant. It smells a little fruity and very clean. I like it.But the problem is that when the fluid dried, it left a very noticeable dull film on my wood floor. There was a very significant matte haze. I was very disappointed. I thought it might not be completely dry, so I left it for about an hour to see if the haze disappeared. But it didn't go away.I had to "buff" off the film. (Ironically, I used a dry regular Swiffer pad to fix the problem!) The finished product was fine, but it too much more work than I expected.Maybe it works well on other types, colors or finishes of wood floors. But for me, it was a failure!

I started using this for the mere convenience. Constantly filling up a bucket and wringing out a mop was getting tiresome. I was surprised at how clean it actually got my floors without damaging them at all. The amount of dirt that was on the pad using this was surprising as I clean a lot. It did not leave the floors sticky, tacky, or slippery either. They were nice and clean and shiny. Smells great too.PerformanceI love the swiffer wet jet and the wood floor cleaner is a wonderful add to the line. It gets my floors very clean and leaves them nice and shiny. I can clean my entire kitchen and dining room floors in just a few minutes. It dries very quickly as well, no more waiting an hour or more to go back into the kitchen. It even gets out stuck on food and yuck my kids get on the floor.ScentHas a very pleasing scent. The house always smells great after I swiffer with the wood floor cleaner. It's not overpowering, just a good smelling clean smell with a touch of citrus.

Swiffer is the product that kind of took over the old mop style which was awesome because you don't mop up germs and then re-mop with it again. When I started using swiffer it was the dry ones and I was pretty satisfied with that but as far as mopping up everything with the wet jet I haven't been to pleased. I always sweep the floor prior to mopping but it just doesn't seem to do the trick, making it more work when I have to wait til it dries then get down on my hands and knees to wash by hand. The scent of it is an ok scent but at times can be a little over powering.

I purchased the Swiffer Wet Jet Wood Floor Cleaner, after I bought a Swiffer Wet Jet, and then realized that the spray that came with my Wet Jet, was not meant to be used on wood floors. When I went out I found this replacement spray, suggested just for wood floors, and for the cost my expectations were pretty high. I was left sorely disappointed. The spray is much like using soapy water. I (wrongly) anticipated that since it was meant for wood floors, there would be some polish aspect to the product. It has nothing of the sort. After I finished using the product my wood floors were dull, with an almost sticky residue on them. I was disappointed that Swiffer would put their name on such a product. Why bother making a wood floor cleaner that leaves them looking grimier than when I started? It also doesn't even have the pleasant smell of other Swiffer products. Huge waste of money.

The Swiffer WetJet Wood Floor Cleaner does not quite do what it is supposed to do. I have used it on some of my hardwood floors a few times, now, since I already had the Swiffer WetJet Mop and was curious to see if the wood cleaning solution would made cleaning those rooms a little bit easier. The results were okay, but not something I would go out of my way to repeat. It seems to make the finish on the floor seem a little bit dull and streaky, rather than shiny and clean. It did clean up some of the dirt that was on the surface of the floor, but I wish it would have left a little bit of a more high-quality looking finish on them, afterward. I will probably go ahead and use the rest of this bottle, since I already have it on hand in the house, but after that, I will find an alternative. I most likely will not purchase this product again, once it runs out, because I don't feel it is as effective as it could be. Still, I love Swiffer, and if they came out with a more advanced formula, I'd be willing to try it.

When using this product I actually notice no difference in my wood floors. They are not sparkling clean and left with a nice shine. They also don't appear dirty so I am left in the middle with how I feel able this product. The fact that it does cost a little bit more, it leaves me thinking it's not actually worth the extra money. I find that mopping my floors is actually just as fast and produces better results. I have not experienced any sticky feeling or residue from the cleaner left behind. It's only sticky feeling when it is wet, but as soon as it dries the floors are fine. I have not found dust and pet fur stuck to the floor after using it and my socks, slippers, and feet also don't stick after using it. Because I don't notice a different I have just stopped buying it and went back to using my mop.ScentThe smell itself is a little too strong for my taste. I like a bit more subtle fragrance with my cleaning products. However, this is personal preference and I think the majority of people would not mind the scent.

This swiffer wood floor cleaner is a great floor cleaner because it cleans well and leaves a fresh scent. I used this floor cleaner exclusively on my sealed wood floors for many years before I recently bought the swiffer bissell steam mop. This wood floor cleaner removes dirt and dust and you feel confident that it will not ruin or damage your wood floors. The container easily snaps onto the swiffer wet jet mop and it is ready to use. The spray easily comes out of the mop by using the trigger handle at the top of the mop. The trigger is right where your hand/finger naturally goes and it sprays quickly. When the container is empty, it snaps out pretty easily and I recycle them. They are pretty inexpensive at the big box stores. The scent of the cleaner is really nice and leaves my apartment smelling clean for hours later. I use it weekly and am happy with the results.
